June 6 – 7, 2020 – Baldwin City, KS - Battle of Black Jack

For the commemoration of the 164th anniversary of the Battle of Black Jack, we will be having full scale reenactments of the battle the weekend of June 6/7, 2020. We are working with the First Federal Division, a national organization of experienced reenactors, who will be bringing to Black Jack a group 100 participants who will have been fully vetted for their period clothing, weapons, and gear. They will camp out on site, and in addition to reenacting the battle, they will be available for public interaction. Reenactment of the Battle of Black Jack on the historic battlefield near Baldwin. Recreates the 1856 Bleeding Kansas battle featuring John Brown.
